I think by now, most people are bored of me wearing the same green scarf .

I can't help it, I'm loving it from the first day I saw it ; and I think that my relationship with the green scarf is getting stronger, day by day! ;)

I was from a seminar, so that explains why I was wearing that batik skirt.. :)

originally that batik long skirt is paired with a kebaya, from Indonesia.

LATER..

Instead of the batik skirt, I wore the same blouse with black+white pants (nichii)

I wore diff scarf , and added a symmetrical top as a skirt. (unbranded)

still carrying the same handbag cz I like the tone of the bag (iamjetfuelshop)

And just to give some attention for the shoes,

I wore that beidge + nude pink high platform shoes (chicpop)

I just wanna post something that I should’ve post weeks ago.

6th February, 2011.

So, finally we had the chance to meet ze Gorgeous, Hana Tajima.

As for me, meeting Hana herself was something unexplainable, something that was beyond words and my imagination.

But , meeting new sisters from scarflets was another moment I had to cherish.
Who knew that one day, us sisters would be having tea and capture photos that we could possibly show to our children one day?

Scarflet sisters are never about what makes you up-to-date, what brands are you wearing,
but rather ‘how did u inspire me’.
We come from different backgrounds, yet we share something in common, at least favourite colour of lipstick. :D

Faith brought us together at a wonderful evening,
So we could share laughter, emotional stories and dreams.

I love this sisterhood.

I had this conversation with a friend,

"style and individuality"

For me, fashion can influence us in various ways.

somehow, we will be affected with the trends, and other people.

tell me,

when u look at someone, won't u be like..

"she looks good in that, i wish i can wear something like that"

we tend to see ourselves in the same picture.

the difference is,

the face and body is you, the clothes are not.

some designs, materials are critically design for u, and some are not,

deal with it.

Therefore, don't be afraid to take any risk,

as long as it's you.

u can be a copycat, but don't let it be a shadow of someone else.

i may look like a weirdo to u,

but this is me.

and i'm not afraid to be what is already in me.

On weekdays, I will go for 'less is more',

comfort at night, not asking for much attention.

But, I also want to look good.

salam,

boleh tak kalau mcm u guys pretend ni mcm letter? okaylah, e-mail logic sikit! zaman skrg letter mcm official sangat. ( -_-)

kalau ada orang perasan, post blog saya sekarang lebih ke arah interaktif, kasual dan mcm ramah sikit compared to zaman dulu. :) mungkin dulu saya lebih takut untuk bersifat terbuka, mungkin jugak sebab rasa mcm ckap dengan laptop, tanpa ada pembaca. tapi sekarang mcm confident sikit nak ramah tamah dengan orang lain. sebab dah jumpa dah orang lain yang telah baca ini blog. sampailah sekarang, kalau nak keluar dengan mak saya,

walau beli nasik lemak atau kedai runcit, wajib pakai bedak dan eye liner. :)

saya seorang yang suka berangan,

kebanyakan masa saya berangan dulu mcm mana saya mahu tampilkan diri saya nanti,

dari situ timbul lah niat macam mana nak ekspresikan diri.

saya akui, pengalaman banyak mematangkan saya dari segi penampilan.

kalau dulu, walaupun minat itu ada, tapi pemerhatian orang orang luar membuatkan saya takut untuk menjadi apa yang saya ingini. saya juga akui, pernah ditertawakan orang lain, bila saya mencuba sesuatu yang baru.

tapi, saya x ambil kisah sangat. :)

walau sekarang pun, kalau saya ke mall, orang masih akan tengok.

motif pemerhatian mungkin kerana mereka pun teringin, atau mungkin mereka pelik dengan saya. atau mungkin, mereka tertanya kenapa.

well, I wanted to create a look that is simple yet sort of classy at the same time.

To be honest, at first I wanted to go with a creamy lace mini dress with the jacket, but I decided to just wear a top that would grab a zebra's attention! :D

The yellow cotton shirt is helping me out not to look dull and boring.

I love baggy shirts, jackets and etc. it's just me.

maybe bcause i'm into skinnies so wearing baggy tops kindda steal the attention. :)

Upon grasping for fresh air, I felt lonely. I miss my mum and him. Both important people in my life. Not that I don’t love my family or friends… but not having them right now, there’s a feeling of sudden lost and empty inside me. I miss them sooo much.

ps: waking up and having this kindof view, masyallah! :D

I do miss my old life, living here and taking role as parents just lead me to bed at 9 pm every night. HAH!

Let me explain my long absence from blogging. Not that anybody would care (I know lah ) hehe .

5.30 am – 8 am : taking care of the house, including breakfast and laundry.

9.00 am- 10 am: me time, more to reading newspapers and tweeting! J

10.30 am – 1.00 pm : cooking/ shower/ planning what to buy for lunch

( planning normally take 1 hour mind you!) that’s why I prefer cooking.

(boleh masak ko den? Aha! Meh umah dulu rasa. Then u judge k) haha. Bolehla nak kenyangkan perut mu itu!

2.00 pm- 4.00 pm : taking care of my sister (spm month) / rest (another me time, mostly nap ) krohhhh krohhh!

5.00 – 7.00 pm: lipat kain, prepare dinner, owh tgk cinta kirana! Haha

8.00 – 9.00 pm : depends. Haha. This is random. J

TENGOK. KAN DAH CAKAP KU BZ ! hectic tau tak! Belum masuk bab hantar amik budak-budak tuition/ kumon.

Thank u for those who were praying for my hometown,

Last Tuesday, just hours after my parents left to Mecca,

I received the news that Kedah will be affected by flood again.

Last time it was in 2005 and this time, they predicted it will get worst.

Well, they predicted well enough.

It's really sad to see the houses, really is...

I'm fine, my family is. alhamdulillah...

My house is situated on a small hill so, yup we're safe for now.

We're like trap in an Island because lotsa main roads are closed.

I'm glad that we still have stocks of food so nobody is suffering out of hunger... :)

This time, let me just post some shots of my casual outfit.

I'm at my parents' so most of the time I would just take it easy on myself.

Sometimes people are just afraid to wear shirts that are bigger than their normal size.

Fret no more!

Tips from me, if you're worried that you would look twice than your normal size,

carry around a huge bag or a big statement handbag,

and trust me you won't look big in that large shirt.

ps: My parents will be going to Makkah next week. Insyallah, they will be Haji and hajjah soon.

Wow. it's already October?
can you believe it?
it's almost a year now...
For a minute, I imagine the time would pause, and let me breath, easily.
Guess, I couldn't let it go.
I keep on holding, not wanting to let go.

reasons why Mid valley is never a hot spot for me:

1) federal ! (jam setiap masa, for no reason. )

2) too many peeps ( since when shopping mall less peeps?)

3) GSC ( everytime cannot reserve tix maaaaaaaa)

4) tak ramai mamat 6 packs. haha screw this!

I’m worried. I’m mortified. And I feel the air of embarrassment as I walk into the hall. This one makcik keeps staring at me, as if I come from an outer space, or I’m an alien. If only I have the courage to ask her, “why makcik, am I not wearing a single cloth here? I think I have. Clearly I’m covered.”

Accidents happen. Yes, I agree. But public humiliation is not acceptable for me. I never felt so shy wearing what I wear, and going anywhere I want. Except for this particular day, a day I would never forget. (:

A friend of mine invited me to join him for this ‘majlis buka puasa’ and I thought hey why not. Makan free rite? So we went for a movie, and walked around KLCC, having fun… until 5pm. When tatie and nad refused to go … I was like.. ‘hur erm. If they don’t go, I can’t go. Not in this cloth. ‘ but the guys keep pushing and said it was nothing. Nobody cares whatever u’ll be wearing. So, with the courage that I have, off we go. OH CRAP. FORGOT. OUT OF A SUDDEN, AZRI LOST THE CAR KEY. I FEEL LIKE KILLING HIM. PANIC ATTACK! Luckily, it’s in the cinema. PHEW.

I arrived at PWTC just in time, 7.10. suddenly, I had a bad feeling. I even asked Azri to go ahead and I’ll just wait in the car. Hell no, he’s not gonna leave me there. (awww moment). Me and Acad were trying to act cool enough, walking towards the door, even though everybody else was staring at us. Hey just because u guys are in ur baju kurung and baju melayu, doesn’t mean u can stare at us mcm biji mata nak tekeluar. BAM! (tumbuk ) ok. Dramatic la I ni.

Hihi. Great. Everybody happily taking his or her food in baju kurung, baju melayu, baju kebaya, kebarung and whatever that is related to it. I feel like hiding under the table cuz I was wearing my boots, skinny jeans and this chain necklace. Boo u fira! I din even dare to stand up and take my meal even though it only took me about 5 seconds to the food! Honestly, frankly speaking, I’m always confident with whatever I wear and I never care what others would think bout me… but I guess… if a makcik look at you, and trying to judge u in a diff perspective… can u still act brave and be confident in ur shoes? NO. L

Anyway, I learn my lesson. Hoping will never ever crash in just like that, Dress to the occasion, keeping it low when there’s tons of makcik and pakcik who are not your parents. I’M SUPPERRR GRATEFUL THAT MY MUM UNDERSTANDS HER DAUGHTER’S CRAZY STYLE IN DRESSING UP...

Oh. Went for a karaoke after that. Yeay, managed to have a great night with my girlfies. ENJOY THE PIXS.

i'm sorry i've neglected my blog for quite a while, it's just that i'm soooo happy being at my parents'.. sometimes malas nak update.. however, since there's only one week left for my holiday, i'll be sharing some photos of the activities in my hometown..

my friends and I, we always had our breakfast there since they have like tons of foods! u name it, nasi lemak, mee goreng, capati, roti canai, kuih-muih or even western!

for the past few days, i've been addicted to this korean series, 'you're beautiful'.

when my sister suggested me this series, i was kindda reluctant to see it because well, let's just face it... the days where great dramas like stairway to heaven, fullhouse,

green rose, save your last dance for me and many more, have already passed.

however, i was wrong. turned out that the drama was great. i can't stop laughing,

and i enjoyed watching the cute guys who acted really well.

out of five stars, i would give it 3.5!!

watching this drama, i kindda wonder, how can the men dressed really weird but at the same time, turned to be fashionably acceptable?

who said that men could not work it well?

inspiring huh? INDEED!

and so, i started my research on fashion about men, and honestly i think that Malaysia should step out from the box. while women in this country are being more brave exposing themselves in being a unique individual with great taste of fashion, why not men? what would stop them?

i know that most of us think that only metrosexual guys or gays could pull it off, and we often give straight, normal guys labels just because they choose to be more fashionable. why!

haven't been to mid like ages!

i wanted to see some cats in pet wonderland, but it was way expensive than i thought...

fyi, i was scared of cats b4, like crazily scared lah, but ended liking them because azri loves cats..

since i live alone, i kindda want a pet.. still searching for a cat or a fish btw! hehe

what i'm wearing: this is a bit tricky.

a part of me would just want to deal it straight while another part, well the rational part of me would say to just let it go, and go on with whatever i believe in life. you see, if you choose not to be normal or common, you just have to deal with it . i'm disappointed with people hiding, but at the same time trying to knock me down. what are you? how can u be this pathetic? poor baby.

i attended leftblock x NIKE sportswear.

chelle, Jacinta and Joyce had done a good job styling up, and created looks that were inspiring and gave a new direction towards fashion. they used several clothes from Nike and gave a new touch towards it. i was really inspired!

last wednesday, my friends and I decided to surprise some of our friends that will be graduating soon. So, we had a little drama and decided to give them a special prank. The prank was to make them believed that my-ex bf was hunting down for my love and my bf was pissed that he just got to give him a lesson. The drama was, azri got hit so bad that he fainted in my other friend's house. everybody rushed to see azro who was said to be beaten to death. bahahahaha. i was supposed to cry besides him but i ended laughing and giggling. so much of an actress!!! i should have practice more. haha. i had fun surprising my friends who will be graduating soon. we had pizza, watching american idol and then hit e mall for some movies. FUN night guys. HAPPY GRADUATION SOOONNNNNNNNNNN!!! :)

my sunday morning started with some surprises from an old friend of mine. he tagged me photos of my old school, old house... and suddenly all the memories kept running through my head.. i used to live in loughborough for several years and i started my primary school there too. loughborough is such a nice and calm place.. a small town with wonderful people... owh i just miss that place!
